Joana's practice currently involves defending medical malpractice actions involving orthopedic surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, oncology and hematology, gastroenterology, neurology/neurosurgery, and various delayed diagnosis claims on behalf of hospitals and physicians. In addition, Joana also has experience in contract disputes, personal injury matters, wrongful death, survival actions, assault matters and labor and employment law. She has represented plaintiffs, in both private and public sectors, in various forums in New Jersey and Pennsylvania during the first ten years of her career. Joana was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. She is fluent in Russian and Lithuanian. Currently, Joana resides with her husband and their three daughters in Delaware County. In addition to law, her passion is tennis and English bulldogs.
